Baldufada Rimada
Baludfada Rimada has an excellent, rich berry flavor that can stand up to any of my other top quality figs. The texture is unique, though. It's lighter than other figs and tastes almost whipped. It's great. It's also the earliest to ripen striped fig from my collection. It has a tight eye and does well in the north.
To be clear, this is not Panache/Bordissot Blanca Rimada. I've ripened both and this fig is different. Panache has different leaves, a larger eye, is squatter, ripens several weeks later, and has a hollow cavity.
