Hassan has consistently been my earliest ripening fig out of about 100 varieties. Hassan is very similar to Sao Miguel Roxo, with a similar rich berry flavor, just earlier. It's my workhorse performer here in the northeast. If I had to choose one fig to grown here in my climate, Hassan would be it.
